Most of the menu is rice or rice noodles, and you can substitute extra veggies as well if you want to remove a carb. I would say you might want to double check if you are strictly allergic, but I would suspect most people will be ok. Just be sure not to get an item with wheat noodles.
Reasonable prices. Quick service. The vegetarian noodle soup I had was a bit bland but the meat eaters in our party really liked the meat pho.
The California Aqueduct is an engineering marvel. There are several places where you can get close to the aqueduct and if you have a fishing license, you can fish for a variety of fish in it.
It's alright here, came here about 40 minutes before they were closing on a Monday night and there weren't any others in the restaurant. They were pretty quick with the service. Typical pho, you can get small or large sized bowls. The decor is completely in lime green which is a bit quirky.
Great Pho, low prices. Great value for the money
Delicious soup from the broth to the noodles and veggies it is definitely a top notch meal. They offer white rice or yellow egg noodles with vegetable, chicken or beef broth and choice of meat or veggies. I get veggies in the chicken broth with white rice noodles. Comes with lots of sprouts and seasonings on the side.
The environment was mediocre just as most places in this shopping strip, and the food was good. The prices on the menu were normal and the #11 beef pho I ordered was mediocre. I have had better and worse pho, so this I believe is just average. Nothing great.
It’s a good place for Vietnamese food! Great location and delicious food. We arrived in San Jose on Saturday around 8a and needed to find a good Pho place after an early flight. This restaurant is close to SJC airport and open in early hours. Pho bowls were hot and delicious at 8:05am!
This place is always packed at lunchtime on weekdays. It's much quieter for dinner. They accept debit cards, no minimum. Wait time for dinner is within the first 5-10 minutes. Clean tables, doesn't stink, floors aren't sticky. The meatball pho is something I come back for but they do have dry dishes (not soupy), too, like rice noodle plates.
This place is awesome! Reasonable pricing, considerable portions and the staff members are constantly very welcoming.
Had #10 (a "starred" favorite) and it was very oily, meat was tough, and the large size is most places' normal size. Did not taste good. Only went there because it opens at 8am (no other phonplace around is open at that time). Will not return.
Great Pho with fast and excellent service
Great Pho spot that hidden in plain sight. The prices are competitive and most importantly the broth is spot on for beef pho. Check this spot out!
Went for lunch so it was busy, but the staff worked vigorously to get people seated. I was sat within 5 minutes. My Vietnamese crispy rolls came out really fast and werr super hot, exactly how I like them. They were tasty as well. I ordered Pho Ga (chicken pho with white meat). It came with fresh veggies and the right amount. The broth was delicious! If I had to give it a critique it would be that I wanted to switch seats, because I was right by the door and I was cold. I saw an empty table and politely asked the waitress if I could move. She yelled at me NO! That is a table for 5 people! I told here I was just asking and there was no need to snap like that. She applogiezed and moved me to a seat across the room. I forgive her, it is a stressful environment. Tips: They take creditcard. Parking us packed and hard to find at lunch. I will definitely go back.
This is the place if you're in the mood for soup 😉
Super fast service and pretty tasty Viet food.
Nice place overpriced
No frills atmosphere, food, or service. Pho Viet has some decent food, but a more limited menu than what I've come to expect from other similar restaurants in the area. Ultimately it may be a good spot to get your Vietnamese fix if you're close by, but there are better options if you're willing to drive a bit.
Food was good, but prices keeps on going up. Large bowl of pho is 13-14 now.
Pho Ga was pretty good. Noodles were tasty. Service was fast and efficient.
Yum. I had their vermicelli noodle and the sauce was excellent. Food well done served quickly. To quote the governator: I'll be back.
Quickly efficient, and tasty! I've only had a few of the pho dishes, and they've all been great. Everything else I've seen served there looks equally good. Extra points for using reusable chopsticks instead of disposable ones!
Excellent food I will miss this place always delicious.
Very tasty Veggie soup.
Okay food. Okay service. Good location. You would know why 3✨ when you’ve tried many Pho’s.
Best Pho place in south bay, great service, to-go place for a quick lunch/dinner. The beef combination is delicious, all the ingredients are pretty fresh, the soup is a little bit salty but very tasty.Parking around weekday noon is pretty challenging.
Excellent service and Pho
Good food, and fast service.
Go there often for convenience. Not too bad. Not too good. But I do notice how the workers never look happy there.
This place is CLEAN! clean dishes, clean utensils, clean bathroom!BBQ shrimp was pretty good, nicely charred and flavorful. Overall pretty decent.
HUGE portions, decent meat. However, soup broth was on the sour side, and didn't enjoy it that much. Was super fast however.
Really good both and quality pho overall. Super quick. Staff is always pleasant.
#60 THE BEST
Stopped by for lunch. My food was served fast, and had a good flavor. A nice place to get some food fast, without too much complications
The ingredients used by this restaurant are good. The beef is tender and tasty. The price is higher.
Phenomenal, authentic food at a good price. Never had a bad meal here. You won't be disappointed.
Broth was unremarkable and they had no basil, but at least the service was fast
By far one of THE BEST PHO RESTAURANTS in San Jose!! I have been going to Pho Viet for nearly twice a week, if not more for the past 2 years. I have tried a lot of Pho places in the area but what sets them apart is how well they make their Pho (Both their broth and meat are so savory and delicious!), their affordable yet generous portions and their amazing service!! I always order the #1 (Spring Rolls), a large #15 and a side of meat balls to add to my pho for less than $25. The food here is so good that you almost feel like it was home made. It feels like your meal was cooked not for the masses but for just you and made with love. I would highly and gladly recommend this restaurant to everyone!!
There is a lot of quantity. Especially the large size is a standard 3 servings. That's about five times the amount of Korean restaurant 'Emoi'.
Food is great. Very busy lunch hours.
Visited this place yesterday and we ordered combination Pho and Spicy beef rice noodle. The broth of Pho was very light and the quality of beef in it was low quality. The beef in spicy beef noodle soup was so tough, I had to break it apart sideways first with my front teeth and then try to chew it. Almost like I ordered beef jerky noodle soup. Total bill came about $40. I wouldn't say this is a cost-effective place to eat. There are other Pho places in town and we won't go back again.
I have the veggie soup with vermicelli noodles. It was Hardy and large but lacked depth of flavor that I'm sure the other soups probably have ( other customers looked very happy and the food that I saw looked wonderful). Service was excellent! I'm eager to return and try something else.
Very good place, fast service and large pho bowl is well serve. Best in the area
Nice people, delicious and enough food
Good veggie pho options close to work..
Pho was pipping hot. Fresh basil added a nice touch towards flavor. Overall good Pho.
Not a fancy place but good pho and Best avocado smoothie!
Very nice food and service.
Good Pho - I really enjoyed the broth of the beef pho. Very adequate, no-frills service like you might expect at an authentic Viet restaurant. They were, however, already visibly closing at 7:30pm when we arrived, despite having an official closing time of 9pm on a Friday. No music in the place, so it's dead quiet unless someone is talking or utensils are clattering. Chairs were flipped to the top of tables and some lights turned off before closing time arrived. If that makes you feel rushed as a customer, you're not alone. I might come back, but only for lunch or for take-out.
Been there twice both times the pho has been delicious and fresh service has also been adequate what more can you ask for. Pho is on point especially the combo.
I always end up coming here as its next to my work place. Usually super crowded during lunch hour but service is pretty quick. Pho is not the best in the bay area but its totally worth the price.
